My research team investigates the effect of genetic and non-genetic factors on intra- and inter-leukaemia heterogeneity and how this influences chemotherapy resistance and disease progression. We aim to develop tools to identify and track resistant leukaemia cells within the leukaemia bulk and to improve treatment to prevent or delay the evolution of drug resistance and subsequent disease relapse.
