My main activity concerns the analyse of the effects of a vagal stimulation with an inhibitor of the acetylcholinesterase activity, pyridostigmine, on atrial tachyarrhythmias in aging spontaneously hypertensive rats.
Sympathovagal balance is assessed using pharmacological approaches or heart rate variability analyzes in hypertensive (SHR) and normotensive (WKY) aging rats.
