Scientific summary
In intensive care units clinicians have often to fight against ischemia injury a major example of which is encountered in organ transplantation. Therefore the aim of this project is to develop and use in pre-clinical models of kidney transplantation a very new drug that targets an innovative pathway we have recently identified in mammals and able to prevent the tissular damages induced by an ischemia/reperfusion injury.
