Scientific summary

Dr Caroline Caradu is a PhD student currently working on the role of endothelial cell dysfunction in the pathophysiology of critical limb ischemia as part of her thesis research project, under the supervision of Dr Marie-Ange Renault and Pr Eric Ducasse at the Insem Unit 1034. She is also  a fellow in vascular surgery at the University Hospital of Bordeaux. She earned her MD degree at the Medical School of Bordeaux in France. Her research interests include novel therapeutic approaches to critical limb ischemia, the role of Hedgehog signaling in endothelial dysfunction and arteriogenesis, as well as endovascular treatment of complex aortic aneurysms.
