Scientific summary

I’m conducting my research activities within the “Modelling, Epidemiology and Surveillance of Health Risks” (MESuRS) laboratory.

My work is mostly focused on infectious disease epidemiology and modelling. I'm interested in the understanding of biological, behavioural and social determinants of infectious transmission, especially with the aim to evaluate strategies for prevention and control of infectious diseases. I have worked on various diseases including HIV, yellow fever, hepatitis C, herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) and tuberculosis.

I am also Visiting Lecturer at the Imperial College London. I'm especially part of the WHO Collaborating Center for Infectious Disease Modelling that provides support to WHO for real-time data analysis during yellow fever outbreaks.

I’m developing my teaching activities within the Health and Safety pedagogic team.
