Scientific summary

My researches investigate the roles of human genetic and epigenetic factors involved in addictive disorders (including eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa, and substance use disorders, like alcohol-dependence) and psychiatric disorders (schizoprhenia, major depression disorder, ADHD and autism). Taking into account of clinical and neurocognitive evaluations and biological samples (DNAs, RNAs, miRNAs and proteins) from patients, remitters, families and controls, I am search for biomarkers of the mental health. The goal of my researches is to decipher the neurobiological mechanisms involved in the psychiatric disorders, and to identify biomarkers to propose diagnostic and prognostic better and earlier.

I am a member of the Genome Wide Anorexia Nervosa international consortium (PIs C Bulik, D Collier, P Sullivan).

Expertises in genetics, molecular biology, epigenetics and pharmacogenetics in addictive and psychiatric disorders.

Publications more than 110 papers in peer journals and 20 chapters in books (Genome-wide association study identifies eight risk loci and implicates metabo-psychiatric origins for anorexia nervosa. Nat Genet. 2019 Aug;51(8):1207-1214. doi: 10.1038/s41588-019-0439-2)
