Major Research Interest :
The research projects held in the laboratory have one main purpose, a better knowledge of genetic diseases and cancers, and two pratical applications, diagnosis and therapy. The project deals with different domains of molecular genetics : the molecular analysis of the mutations responsible for known genetic diseases, gene transfer techniques in animal cells for the purpose of human gene therapy in the future, research of molecular targets for treatment of cancers.
The two specialized fields developped are hematology and dermatology.
