Nelly Frossard is an expert in the field of airway inflammation and pharmacology, mainly interested in chemokines and their role in the attraction of immune and inflammatory cells in the airways in asthma and chronic obstructive respiratory disease as well as in lung transplantation. Her interest recently focuses on neutralizing the chemokines by small chemicals, the “neutraligands”, thereby allowing to study the mechanism and adaptation of the inflamed airways toward a normal response.
