Scientific summary
My research focuses on identifying the role of moderating contextual factors and population-specific causal pathways in the association between parental psychological difficulties and children’s development.
In particular, my research combines multiple approaches (epidemiology, social sciences, psychiatry and mental health) to study the impact of genetic, neurobiological, psychological and environmental risk mechanisms
I am also interested in the evaluation of interventions that contribute to the prevention of mental health problems in children and their parents.
