Research Interest

Carbohydrate-active enzymes, Carbohydrate chemistry, Biochemistry, Enzymology, Development of new methodologies by using both chemical and biotechnological tools in order to synthesize furanosyl-containing glycoconjugates, NMR spectroscopy. Applications towards parasitic diseases, cancer, and in plant health. 

Co-author of 90 publications, 4 international patents and more than 20 invited seminars.
