Scientific summary

Claire Peghaire research focuses on the regulation of angiogenesis, homeostasis and blood vessel integrity in vascular biology. She uses several in vivo models of physiological and pathological angiogenesis and in vitro models to dissect the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in the develpoment of vascular diseases.

Her ongoing project aims to investigate the contribution of endothelial cell dysfunction in cerebrovascular diseases and to identify new molecular players involved in cerebral small vessel disease.
