Renzo Bianchi earned his doctoral degree in psychology at Bourgogne Franche-Comté University in 2014. In 2015, he started working as a psychology researcher and lecturer at the University of Neuchâtel. In 2018, he became an “Ambizione” grantee of the Swiss National Science Foundation at the same institution. Based on his postdoctoral achievements, Renzo Bianchi was conferred the title of Privatdozent in 2020. In 2022, he joined the Norwegian University of Science and Technology as an Associate Professor of psychology.
Renzo Bianchi’s research interests include occupational health (e.g., work-related stress, anxiety, and depression) and psychological assessment (e.g., scale development, psychometrics). Renzo Bianchi is the co-creator of the Occupational Depression Inventory, an instrument reflective of a renewed approach to job-related distress. He is a leader of the MAD-OHP research group. Renzo Bianchi has published over 100 papers in scientific journals to date.
