Scientific summary

Early-career researcher in antimalarial drug discovery with a strong focus on Plasmodium biology, drug resistance, and mode-of-action studies. Passionate about accelerating the development of new therapeutics by combining phenotypic screening, molecular biology techniques (including transfection and cloning), and fluorescence imaging to identify novel chemical scaffolds. My research spans both asexual and sexual stages of P. falciparum, with an expanding interest in other Plasmodium species such as P. vivax and clinical isolates.

My areas of interest includes: Drug discovery | Malaria | Phenotypic screening | Drug resistance | Transfection and in vitro cloning| Assay development | Fluorescence imaging |
