Scientific summary

Our main objectives are to understand the physiopathology of the Human T cell Leukemia Virus Type 1 (HTLV-1) infection and to develop new regimen that could either prevent the occurence of Adult T cell Leukemia or that would allow patients treatmentTo achieve this goal, we  take advantage of our combined expertise, of several in vitro or in vivo  models that are available in the team. We also benefit from ongoing collaborations with epidemiologists, biochemists, and chemists.

Main organisms with whom the team collaborates : INSERM, Pasteur Institute, Necker Hospital, CNRS, NIH, George Mason university
