Scientific summary

Team RESIST@ML - Drug resistance and Oncometabolism in acute myeloid leukemia

Our strategy and next five-years plan are to capitalize on these new tools and mice models to investigate how to better characterize the in vivo chemoresistance mechanisms of AML and propose innovative therapeutic strategies in AML through a tiny connection between the Research Team 18 of the CRCT, the Hematology Laboratory (F. Vergez being the head of diagnostic platform for Leukemia) and the Hematology Department of the IUCT-Oncopole (C. Récher being the head of this service). Therefore, we need and plan to re-inforce the current team 18 by recruiting a permanent lab manager/technician and two staff scientists (CR2/1) during this forthcoming period.
