Structure-Function Relationships in Yeast Ribosome Biogenesis

Quality control mecanisms during small ribosomal subunit assembly
Education:
-PhD in molecular biology obtained in 2008 at the University of Toulouse III. Research performed at the LBME (Toulouse).
"Functional characterisation of the RNA helicase Prp43p".
I am interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms required during ribonucleoparticles (RNP) assembly and specially during ribosomes synthesis. To study these mechanisms, I integrate different information coming from in vivo genetics (yeast), large throughput analysis of protein/RNA interactions, biochemistry analysis as well as structural study.
