Scientific summary
My research activities and area of expertise are in computational approaches towards structural and functional characterization of large protein families.
In this respect, I sometimes develop my own computational methods, tools and databases with applications in the field of protein engineering, structure prediction, fold recognition, glycoenzymology but also chemical-biology of olfaction in insects.
My teaching activities are in the area of biochemistry. I also teach computational biology and structural bioinformatics to biology students.
