Scientific summary

Odile Filhol is a cell biologist who investigates the mechanisms at the basis of cancer metastasis formation. Working on a protein kinase named CK2, she studied its subcellular localisation, ils biding partners and its functions in normal and cancer cells. She developed a strong expertise in 3D cell culture and imaging to study epithelial to mesenchymal transition and cancer stem cells properties. Currently focussing on kidney cancer.
