Scientific summary

I started research in Biomathematics during my master which has dealt on HIV infection, especially modeling the incubation period of AIDS. My PhD and my postdoctoral led me to focus on modeling of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. Since completing my PhD, I have carried out several modeling projects on HCV in France, Europe, the United States and Egypt, and I have also developed projects on HIV and other infectious diseases like tuberculosis and Influenza A (H1N1). Since 2011, I have a position of researcher at Inserm, within the IAME research unit (DeSCID team, Inserm U1137, Paris University, Paris; with strong collaboration with INFINITE, Inserm U1286, University Lille Nord de France, and Lille CHR, Lille). I still work on modeling projects of infectious diseases, HCV and HBV, but also more generally on liver diseases, such as hepatocellular carcinoma, alcoholic liver disease and NASH. Since 2019, I co-lead the DeSCID team in IAME.
