Scientific summary

I am a Professor of Occupational Health in France (Paris, now Angers). My research focuses on the epidemiology of work disorders, musculoskeletal and other chronic diseases. My interest is in exposure assessment using a job exposure matrix and long working hours (I was co-lead reviewer for the WHO/ILO joint burden of disease initiative). I lead the Clinical Toxicological Unit - Poison Control Center, Western France, and involved in Clinical Data Center. I also conduct research on emergencies in occupational settings and I am Chair (and creator) of ICOH’s scientific committee on Emergency Preparedness and Response, and involved in COVID preparedness. In 2021, I was honored by my President, as Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur. I am collaborating with USA, and was appointed Clinical Professor of Occupational Medicine, Epidemiology and Prevention.
