Professor of Ophthalmology, associate researcher at the Vision Institute
I am interested in the effect of circulatory disorders on vision; this encompasses flow-function relationship, the effect of microvascular remodelling, and the management of retinal edema. I have developed original models of vascular occlusion in wild-type rodents which may develop microvascular remodelling. There is a special emphasis of my clinical research on retinal vein occlusions. This also led me to get involved in the development and evaluation of high-resolution retinal imaging, both experimentally and clinically.
