Scientific summary

My research focuses on the genetic and molecular epidemiology of cancer, with an integrative approach combining multi-omics and exposome data to elucidate cancer etiology and identify early biomarkers. I lead several research projects on thyroid and breast cancers, and more recently on pancreatic cancer. My work involves large-scale GWAS, Mendelian randomization, and pleiotropy analyses to investigate causal relationships and shared genetic risk factors. I also have an interest in molecular signatures of environmental exposures and their contribution to cancer risk. Through interdisciplinary collaborations, I aim to advance precision prevention through improved risk prediction in complex diseases.
