Pr JO Bay gained his medical degree in 1992 from Besançon University (France). He holds a doctoral degree in life science. Since 2007, he is head of adult cell therapy and clinical hematology unit of Clermont-Ferrand (France). His research activity are focused on haematopoietic stem cell transplantation more specifically on allogeneic stem cell transplantation and reduced intensity conditionning. He had published over 30 papers on this subject. His cancer research activity also included prostate cancer, sarcomas, glioblastomas and renal cell carcinomas.
