Scientific summary

My research interest lies in understanding the interplay between circadian clocks and the neuroendocrine system. To this aim, I have implemented a number of techniques to assess hormonal secretion patterns, as well as circadian gene expression, cell signaling and cell network physiology, and integrated behaviors.

Two complementary approaches are conducted to unravel how circadian clocks coordinate hormonal rhythms (top-down strategy), and to investigate the plasticity of the circadian pacemaker as a function of the physiopathological status of neuroendocrine axes (bottom-up strategy).
